What are Stem Cells?

Stem cells are the building blocks of life and have the unique ability to rebuild organs, tissue, blood systems, and the immune system.

What is Cord Blood?

Left in the umbilical cord after birth, cord blood contains stem cells similar to those in bone marrow, but biologically younger. They treat the same sorts of diseases, and are more likely to provide a suitable match than bone marrow stem cells.¹

What is Cord Tissue?

A rich source of a different stem cell than those found in cord blood. Cord Tissue stem cells can differentiate into a variety of cell types including tissue, bone, cartilage, muscle and nerves.

Why Privately Bank?

Cord blood cells have been used in 30,000+ transplants. By privately banking, you’ll have immediate access to your stem cells. The cells are always a perfect match for your child, and a possible match for family. Cord blood stem cells have been used in over 35,000 transplants.

How it Works

Collection

Immediately after birth, cord blood and cord tissue is collected.

Pick-up/Delivery

The collection is then picked up by a trusted courier and delivered to our laboratory.

Storage

Cord blood and cord tissue is then processed and stored at our state-of-the-art facility, and is ready for your family whenever needed.
